About ISA
The "International Spanish Academies" (ISA) are educational institutions in the U.S. and Canada, of all non-university academic levels (Pre-K, Elementary, Middle and High School), of recognized academic prestige that follow (with or a part of their student body) an integrated curriculum of Spanish language and content. In order to join the ISA network, the institutions have signed an agreement of collaboration with the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sport. North American K-12 schools that implement any model of syllabus that utilizes an integrated learning methodology of content and language in Spanish (CLIL).

Diplomas in Spanish as a Foreign Language
- The ISA are given priority in the hiring of Visiting Teachers, attending to the particular demands of each institutions faculty with specialization in the subjects taught in Spanish.
Spanish Language and Cultural Assistants
- Preferential placement in the institutions that comprise the network of the Spanish Language and Cultural Assistants that are selected annually by the Spanish Ministry of Education Office MECD.

Diplomas in Spanish as a Foreign Language
- The Diplomas in Spanish as a Foreign Language (DELE) The Diplomas in Spanish as a Foreign Language (DELE), granted by Instituto Cervantes on behalf of the Ministry of Education of Spain, are official certificates that indicate the degree of competence and mastery of Spanish. The DELE examinations have been designed following the guidelines of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) of the Council of Europe. Accordingly, there are six levels of competence: A1, A2, B1, B2, C1, C2. The examination provides for all the different variants of the Spanish language.
